The Water Check 2 allows clearing of gas sample blockages not available on other gas monitors. The large reservoir capacity holds patient secretions that occlude gas flow. The design keeps measurement artifacts to a minimum even for patients with poor lung compliance. Resistant to anesthetic agents commonly absorbed by accessories not designed for anesthesia anesthesia use.
