The Criticare Water Trap allows clearing of gas sample blockages not available on other gas monitors. The large reservoir capacity holds patient secretions that occlude gas flow. The design keeps measurement artifacts to a minimum even for patients with poor lung compliance. Resistant to anesthetic agents commonly absorbed by accessories not designed for anesthesia anesthesia use.
